SAWGRASS MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
2026 is the 30th anniversary since the launch of the Matchplay Championship and to celebrate we are staging the Grand Finals at the world renowned TPC Sawgrass, Florida - home of The Players Championship.
Grand Finalists prize will include four rounds - two played over the ‘bucket list’ Sawgrass Stadium Course – experience the nerves on the famous 17th island green par three!

Entry Fee: Pairs - £100 per pair / Individual - £60
The prize of a place in the Grand Final includes:
- Return economy flights from UK (Manchester or London) to Orlando or £700 towards booking your own flight

How does the tournament work?
- Two separate matchplay competitions - Individual and Betterball pairs
- Entry fee: Pairs - £100 per pair Individual - £60
- Entries close Friday 16 th May. Play starts first week in June
- The draw is made on a regional basis to minimise travelling
- Matches are played at home or opponent’s course – many courses offer courtesy
- Up to four knockout matches played between June and end of September
- Winners of four matches qualify for one of the Regional Finals in October
- Leading pairs and individuals at Regional Finals qualify for the Grand Final at Sawgrass, Florida
