Please Note:
The package we are offering includes accommodation on 6th and 7th August, with checkout on the final day of the tournament, in Crans Montana, where the rounds at Crans-sur-Sierre will be played. This arrangement provides golfers with flexibility in choosing where to stay for rounds 1 and 2.

Before Round One:

If you plan to stay the night before round one, you will need to arrange your own accommodation. We recommend staying in Nyon, just a 10-minute drive from Domaine Impérial.

After Round One:

Accommodation for the night after round one is not included in the package. We suggest staying in Evian, approximately a 90-minute drive from Domaine Impérial. 

There is a wide range of hotel options near Evian, from luxury 5-star properties at over €300 per night to more affordable 3-star hotels at lower price points. We have not included accommodation near Evian in the package to allow competitors the freedom to choose a hotel that best suits their budget and travel plans.

Please note that late tee times for round one and early tee times for round two may make staying in Evian less convenient due to the late arrival and early checkout.

Alternatively, you may choose to stay near Domaine Impérial after round one and drive to Evian early the next morning.

After Round Two:

Guests who have booked the package will travel to Crans Montana (approximately a 1-hour 45-minute drive) and check in at Hotel de l’Etrier.

If you have not booked the package, we strongly recommend arranging accommodation in Crans Montana to stay close to Crans-sur-Sierre, ensuring a short commute to the golf club for the subsequent rounds.

  • Accommodation

    Hotel de l’Etrier 

    Accommodation is booked for arrival on Wednesday 6th and departure on Friday 8th August 2025 and the package is based on a twin or double share, staying in a Classic Double Room (30 m²) with a bath/shower and mountain view, south-facing. Most rooms include a balcony with a mountain view, while some ground-floor rooms offer a terrace, also south-facing.

     

    Hotel Etrier is a 4-star haven that combines a refined atmosphere with a variety of activities and amenities. Surrounded by natural beauty and conveniently located, making it the perfect base for golf, relaxation and adventure.

    Comfortable and Stylish Rooms:

    Hotel Etrier offers a variety of rooms equipped with modern amenities, including flat-screen TVs, minibars, fridges, and Wi-Fi. Some rooms also feature private balconies with breathtaking mountain views, adding an extra touch of luxury to your stay.

     

    Room Upgrade Option:

    Please enquire if you would like to upgrade to a Superior Double Room (30 m²) with a shower and balcony mountain view. There is also one room available on the garden floor with a terrace and south view.

  • Format

    The scoring format for each day will be an individual Stableford, with players using 95% of their Course Handicap as their Playing Handicap. Play will primarily be in groups of four (fourballs).

  • Handicap

    All four rounds will be conducted under the WHS (World Handicap System). However, scores will not be automatically forwarded to your Golf Union. You MUST submit your daily scores to your golf club. The easiest way to do this is by forwarding the email from Golf Genius that you will receive after each round, which contains your score details.

    The maximum Playing Handicap limits are 24 for men and 30 for ladies.

  • GAGT Overseas Handicap System (OHA)

    Where appropriate handicaps will be adjusted after each round in line with the GAGT OHA system, details of which we can provide.  Any adjustments will not affect your club Handicap Index.

    The GAGT OHA system will take precedence over any adjustments made by a player’s home club so that everyone is operating on the same system as some clubs are slow to update overseas scores. 

  • Buggies, Electric Trolleys & Pull Trolleys

    Buggies & Electric Trolleys are not included.


    Buggies & Electric Trolleys are limited in availability at all the courses. If you would like us to book a Buggy or Electric Trolley for you, please let Debbie and Kelly know as soon as possible by email to info@gmmltd.co.uk.

    Priority will be given to golfers with a medical condition and then it will be based on a first come, first served.

    We cannot guarantee to meet all requests.

  • Prizes

    There will be prizes for the leading three scores each day.

    Prizes will be in the form of vouchers for the Tour as follows:

    Daily vouchers: 1st - £100, 2nd - £70, 3rd - £50  Overall vouchers:  1st - £175, 2nd £150, 3rd - £125

  • Travel Insurance

    We consider adequate travel insurance to be essential.  As a condition of entry, you are required to arrange an insurance policy to cover cancellation, accident & medical problems, personal liability, legal expenses, luggage, delays etc.
