GENERAL COMPETITOR INFORMATION

 

The Draw and more detailed Competitor's Information will be available to view 7/10 days before the event.

Package Includes: Dinner, bed and breakfast on Sunday 20th July at The Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa and two rounds of golf on the world renowned Hotchkin Course, rated the best inland course in England.  One round will be played on Sunday teeing off from 10.30am and one round on Monday teeing off from 9.00am.


The single supplement charge is £25.

An additional night is £65 per person, bed and breakfast, sharing a twin / double room

An additional night is £90 bed and breakfast, in a single room

The non golfer charge on Sunday night inc dinner, bed & breakfast is £90

 

Registration: The registration desk will be set up in the Clubhouse.

 

The Petwood Hotel: Accommodation has been booked on a twin/double share basis unless you specifically request a single room. Rooms will be available from 2pm on Sunday and must be vacated by 11am on Monday.

 

Handicap: Please remember to bring your handicap certificate as it will be required when you register.

 

CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event so you will need to know your exact playing handicap when you check in. A Competition Standard Scratch Score will be calculated and handicaps will be amended according to CONGU guidelines.

 

Scoring Format: Play will be in fourballs on both days. The scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

 

Tees: Men - TBC Ladies - Red

 

Championship Event: The winner over 36 holes will qualify for the EAGT UK Final in October.

To be eligible to win this prize you must play a minimum of seven rounds on the schedule of events qualifying for 2014. If a competitor does not comply with the above they cannot accept the automatic place in the UK Final.

 

Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. You will need to be a current member of the Volvo Amateur Golf Tour to qualify for merit points.

 

Sweep: There will be an optional sweep of £5 per day which will include a 2's sweep, a competition sweep and an overall sweep for the 36 hole competition.

 

Dinner: Dinner on Sunday evening will be at approximately 8.30pm. Jackets and ties ARE NOT required but The Petwood Hotel request smart casual dress code.

 

Presentation: The presentation for Sunday?s competition will take place during the dinner in the evening and the presentation for Monday?s competition will take place shortly after the last match finishes.

 

Shorts on course: Shorts must be tailored and socks can be white ankle length or any colour knee length.

 

GPS and laser range finding equipment: The use of GPS and laser range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.
