COMPETITOR?S INFORMATION

Package Includes: Dinner, bed and breakfast at the Marriott St Pierre Hotel, Chepstow, South Wales and two rounds of golf on The Old Course, one on Sunday and one on Monday.

The single supplement charge is ?47.

An additional night is ?70 per person, bed and breakfast, sharing a twin / double room

An additional night is ?115 bed and breakfast, in a single room

The non golfer charge on Sunday night inc dinner, bed & breakfast is ?95

Accommodation:  Accommodation has been booked on a twin/double share basis unless you specifically request a single room. Rooms will be available from 2pm on Sunday and must be vacated by 11am on Monday. 

Tee Times:  Sunday ? two tee start from 1^st & 10^th between 11.32 am and 13.00pm

Monday ? two tee start from 1^st & 10^th between 9.32 and 11.00am

Registration:  The registration desk will be set up in the foyer next to the pro shop from 10.30am on Sunday morning.

CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event so you will need to know your exact playing handicap when you check in. A Competition Standard Scratch Score will be calculated and handicaps will be amended according to CONGU guidelines.

Hotel Facilities:  The Marriott St Pierre Hotel & Country Club has superb leisure facilities including a swimming pool, gym and luxury Spa, use of which is included in the package price. Unfortunately the Spa is closed on Sunday and you are advised to book any treatments in advance for Monday.

Scoring Format:  Play will be in fourballs on both days.  The scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance.  The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

Tees:  Men ? White               Ladies ? Red

EAGT Championship Event: The winner over 36 holes will qualify for the UK Final at Turnberry in October.

To be eligible to accept this prize a competitor must either have played in at least three previous Tour events or play in five subsequent Tour events before the UK Final in October.  If a competitor does not comply with either of the above they cannot accept the automatic place in the UK Final.

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of ?5 per day which will include a 2?s sweep of ?2 per round, a competition sweep of ?2 per round plus ?1 per round for the overall 36 hole competition.

EAGT Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. Dinner:  The dinner on Sunday evening will be in the Marriott St Pierre Hotel at approximately 8.30pm.

Dress Code:  The Hotel request that the dress code is smart casual. Jackets and ties, and the equivalent for ladies, ARE NOT required.

Presentation:  The presentation for Sunday?s competition will take place during the dinner in the evening and the presentation for Monday?s competition will take place shortly after the last match finishes.

Shorts on course: Shorts must be tailored and socks can be white ankle length or any colour knee length.

GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Volvo Tour.
