Accommodation:

We have booked 18 rooms in the recently refurbished 5 star villas at the Turnberry Resort, for arrival on Monday 25^th for two nights, departing on Wednesday 27th October. We have booked the Gailes Hotel in Irvine for Wednesday night 27th October.

Golf: 

Mon 25^th  – Robert the Bruce  -  tee from 11.36am  - 

Tue 26^th -   Ailsa Course  -  tee from 9.37am  -  ranked no 2 in Top 100 UK courses

Wed 27^th  – Ailsa Course  -  tee from 8.42am  -  Host to 4 Open Championships

Thu 28^th  – Prestwick Old  -  tee from 10.18am – birth place of The Open Championship

Format:  The scoring format each day will be individual Stableford with 95% Course Handicap allowance.  All four rounds will count towards the 2022 Orders of Merit.

Daily Draw:  The draw for the first round is on the website. The draws for the last two rounds will be made in score order with the leaders going out last.

Handicap:  All four rounds will be run under the WHS system but scores will not automatically be forwarded to England Golf.  You MUST return your daily scores to your golf club and the easiest way to do this is to forward the email from Golf Genius, which you will receive after each round and which provides details of your scores.

GAGT Overseas Handicap System (OHA):  Where appropriate handicaps will be adjusted after each round in line with the GAGT OHA system, details of which we can provide.  Any adjustments will not affect your club Handicap Index.

Buggies are only available on the Ailsa Course with a Medical Certificate and a caddie must drive the buggy. The charge is £80

Range balls:  Included at Turnberry courses 

Prizes:  There will be prizes for the leading three scores each day.

Prizes will be in the form of vouchers for the 2022 Tour as follows:

Daily vouchers: 1^st - £100, 2^nd - £70, 3^rd - £50 

Dress:  No formal dress i.e jacket & tie required.

Nearest the Pin:  There will be two Nearest the Pins for each round.  The prize will be a £25 GAGT voucher.

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £40, £10 per round and this will be collected in cash when you check in before the first round.  The sweep will be paid out daily for the leading three scores and anyone who scores a two.
