COMPETITOR INFORMATION

 CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT

Package Includes:  Tea/ Coffee & bacon roll on arrival, one round am, light lunch between rounds, one round pm, presentation dinner after pm round, prizes for am, pm & 36 hole competitions.

Tee Times: There will be a SHOTGUN START at 8.30am and again in the afternoon. Please allow 15 minutes to get to your starting tee. The draw including starting hole will be on the website by lunchtime on Monday 27^th May.  

Registration:  The registration desk will be set up in the Clubhouse from 7.15am.

Scoring Format:  Play will be in fourballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

Tees:              Men ? White                Ladies ? Red

Prizes:  Each round will be a separate competition and both will count towards the Order of Merit. There will be prizes for at least the first, second and third place each round plus an overall 36 hole prize.  There will also be two Nearest the Pin competitions.  The presentation will take place during the dinner.

EAGT Championship Event: The winner over 36 holes will qualify for the UK Final at Turnberry in October.

To be eligible to accept this prize a competitor must either have played in at least three previous Tour events or play in five subsequent Tour events before the UK Final in October.  If a competitor does not comply with either of the above they cannot accept the automatic place in the UK Final.

CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event so you will need to know your exact playing handicap when you check in. A Competition Standard Scratch Score will be calculated and handicaps will be amended according to CONGU guidelines..

Catering: A light lunch will be served in between rounds and a three course dinner will be served following the second round.

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of ?5 per round to include a 2s sweep of ?2, a competition sweep of ?2 per and an overall 36 hole competition sweep of ?1.

EAGT Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. Shorts:  If you wish to wear shorts socks must be knee length and white or navy blue.

Dress:   West Hill have relaxed the dress code so jacket & tie are not required.

GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.

Late Cancellation:  Please note that we have submitted numbers to the golf club and they will make a charge for late cancellation.
