Draw: Play will be in threeballs from 10.00am from the 1st tee. The draw will be on the website www.matchplay.co.uk under ‘Finals’ then click ‘More Info’ then ‘Entries’   

Format: The scoring format will be Individual Stableford. Playing Handicap will be 95% of Course Handicap.

Grand Final Qualification:  The leading FIVE individuals will qualify for the Grand Final in Quinta do Lago.

Practice round:  The club has very kindly offered a discounted green fee of £25 Monday – Friday only.  Tee times must be booked in advance on the number above stating you are a competitor in the TravisMathew Matchplay Regional Final.

Practice facilities:  There is a practice ground but competitors will need to provide their own practice balls.

Catering:  Coffee and bacon rolls will be available on arrival.  There will be no catering following play. 

Rules: The Rules of Golf as laid down by the R&A will apply along with any relevant Local Rules.

Tees:  Play will be from the white or medal tees for men depending on the weather conditions on the day and from the red tees for ladies.

Handicap Index:  Maximum        Men – 18         Ladies – 24

GPS & Lasers:  The use of GPS and laser rangefinding equipment is permitted as under the R&A Rules of Golf the use of smart phones and other devices which provide additional information such as wind speed/direction and distance taking into account gradient is in breach of the Rules of Golf.

Caddies:  Caddies may be used but any catering will be at their own expense.

Buggies:  The use of buggies is NOT permitted at the Regional Finals unless on medical grounds and medical certificates must be provided to the club and to the organisers.

Dress code:  Normal golf attire.
