The Park MGM Hotel, located on the south side of the Las Vegas strip, offers various dining options like Primrose, Bavette’s Steakhouse, BetMGM Sportsbook & Bar, Italian Marketplace Eataly, Best Friend and La La Noodle. Amenities include a swimming pool, exercise room, huge casino, room service and Dolby Live theatre.

Parking:  Parking options include self-parking for $18 and valet parking for $35 (Mon-Thur), $40 (Fri-Sun), plus tax per day with in-out privileges within the same 24-hour period. Valet parking can be paid by credit card and charges may be added to the room bill.

Buggies

Buggies are included and shared between two players.

Format and Handicaps

Format: The scoring format each day will be individual Stableford.

Handicaps: Playing Handicap will be set at 95% of Course Handicap. The maximum Playing Handicaps are 24 for men and 30 for ladies. If your handicap exceeds these limits, you can still play, but for competition purposes, you’ll play off these limits.

All five rounds will be run under the World Handicap System (WHS). Scores will not automatically be forwarded to England Golf.  Participants MUST return their daily scores to their golf club. The easiest way to do this is to forward the email from Golf Genius, which will be received after each round, and provides details of your scores.

GAGT Overseas Handicap System (OHA):  Handicaps will be adjusted after each round in line with the GAGT OHA system. The GAGT OHA system is based on the CONGU handicap system prior to the introduction of WHS. Adjustments made by the GAGT OHA system will not affect your club Handicap Index.

The GAGT OHA system takes precedence over adjustments made by a player’s home club to ensure consistency. Details of the GAGT OHA system can be provided upon request.

Daily Draw:  The draw for the first two rounds will be available on the website a week before the event.

Draws for the last two rounds will be made in score order.

In the third round, the leaders will go out first.

In the last round, the leaders will go out last.

Participants can use the message facility in their Locker/Account for requests such as playing partners and early or late tee times in round 1 and 2. The organisers will do their best to accommodate these requests.

Prizes and Sweep

To avoid excess baggage charges, prizes will be in the form of vouchers for the Global Amateur Golf Tour.

Daily Prizes:

1^st Place: £100 GAGT voucher

2^nd Place: £70 GAGT voucher

3^rd Place: £50 GAGT voucher

Overall vouchers: 

1st Place: £200 GAGT voucher

2nd Place: £175 GAGT voucher

3rd Place: £150 GAGT voucher

Nearest the Pin:  There will be two Nearest the Pins for each round, with a prize of a £25 GAGT voucher.

Sweep:  An optional sweep of $40, $10 per round, collected in cash during check-in before the first round.  The sweep will be paid out daily for the leading three scores and anyone who scores a two.

Order of Merit

Merit points will be awarded for all five rounds.

Points will be awarded on the basis of 100 points to the winner, 99 points for runner-up, 98 points for third, and so on.

Participants need to be a current member of the GAGT to qualify for merit points.

Local Rules and Dress Code

Local Rules: Local Rules on the scorecard will be in play, in addition to the R&A Rules of Golf.

Dress Code:  Ankle-length socks are acceptable, and shorts must be tailored. Jacket & Tie are not required; Smart Casual attire is acceptable in the clubhouses.

The above prices are based on an exchange rate of 1.26$ / £.  A surcharge may be necessary if there is an appreciable change in exchange rates.

Late cancellation:  The golf club will make a charge for late cancellation after numbers have been submitted.
