Brief overview:

The resort of Kohler, Wisconsin is located approximately two hours (132 miles) north of Chicago O’Hare Int’l airport and one hour (55 miles) north of Milwaukee airport.  Erin Hills is approximately one hour west (60 miles) of Kohler and two hours north west of Chicago O’Hare Int’l  airport.

The package includes four nights in Kohler and one night in Erin Hills.  In Kohler we are offering a choice of two hotels, the American Club and the Inn on Woodlake.  At Erin Hills our accommodation is in the Lodge and the cottages.

The Kohler Resort has four championship courses all ranked in the Top 100 US Courses – The Straits and The Irish are located at Whistling Straits, 15 mins from Kohler and The River and The Meadow Valley Courses are in Blackwolf Run in Kohler.

The course at Erin Hills will host the 2017 US Open Championship in June 12 –18.

The Inn on Woodlake -   121 bedroom boutique style hotel

The Lodge & the Cottages – arrive Sun 24 – depart Monday 25 September)

Package prices excluding flights:

** The rooms in the Inn on Woodlake include one Kingsize bed so twin sharing is not advisable!

ITINERARY:

Weds 20               Check in to hotel in Kohler

Thu 21                 1^st round at The Straits course – from 8.40am

Fri 22                   2^nd  round at The River course – from 8.40am – Meadow Valley course booked from 2.40pm for optional replay round @ $190

Sat 23                 3^rd  round at The Straits course – from 09.40am

Sun 24               Check out of hotel. 4^th  round at The Irish course – from 10.00am. After golf drive to Erin Hills – check in.

Mon 25               Check out of hotel - 5^th round at Erin Hills from 10.00am.  Following golf drive to airport. 

PLEASE NOTE THE ABOVE PRICES ARE BASED ON AN EXCHANGE RATE OF 1.24 $/£. IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO MAKE A SURCHARGE IF THERE IS AN APPRECIABLE CHANGE IN EXCHANGE RATES. ALTERNATIVELY IF THE RATE IMPROVES WE WILL ADJUST THE PACKAGE PRICE ACCORDINGLY.

A few anticipated questions

Which Airport should I fly into ?

Chicago O’Hare Int’l airport (approx. 2 hrs from Kohler & Erin Hills) is serviced with direct flights from the UK.  Milwaukee is only one hour from Kohler & Erin Hills if you are booking an internal flight.

Are flights included ?

Flights are not included but we recommend you contact Felicity Quint at the Flight Centre on 01727 893993 or email felicity.quint@flightcentre.co.uk and quote EAGT to get the best available fares.

Are airport & golf transfers included ?

Airport transfers are not included as people will arrive on different flights at different times.  We recommend you hire a car or if you prefer not to drive we will try to put you in touch with someone who is hiring a car.

The golf courses operate a complimentary hourly golf shuttle and we will hire a minibus to offer transfers to anyone requiring a lift. 

Should you wish to share a rental car with another competitor please add your flight details to the administration site and let the other competitors know you wish to share a hire car.

Can I book golf only ?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer golf only as you need to stay at Kohler Resort and Erin Hills in order to book a guaranteed tee time in advance.

Why does the package not include breakfast?

There are several options for breakfast in Kohler, either to eat in your hotel or at the golf clubs.  Continental breakfast is included for those persons staying at the Inn on Woodlake.

Are there any additional costs such as Resort Fees etc?

Resort fees have been included in the package price and the only additional charge will be caddie gratuities.

 What is the playing format ?

Individual stableford with full handicap allowance. All five rounds will count towards the 2017 Order of Merit
