COMPETITOR INFORMATION

Package Includes:  Tea/Coffee & bacon roll on arrival, two rounds of golf, a 2-course lunch provided between rounds, prizes and OoM points. 

Registration:  The registration desk will be set up in the Clubhouse from 7.30am.

Breakfast:  Coffee and bacon bap on arrival from 7.45 a.m.

Lunch:  2-course Carvery lunch in the dining room from 12.45 – 1.00 p.m. on a rolling basis.

Tee Times:  The draw will be on the website 48 hours prior to the event.  Play starts at 8.30am in threeballs from the 1st and 9th tees and the afternoon round starts at 1.45pm from the 1st and 9th tees. 

Starting tees in the afternoon will switch so those from the 1st in the morning play from the 9th in the afternoon.

If you specifically require an early or late tee time please inform us via the message facility in your Locker / Account.

Dress Code in the Dining room:  You will be required to wear a jacket and shirt (not polo shirt) in the dining room at lunchtime.  Shorts are not allowed in the dining room.

Practice facilities:  The golf club features a full driving range, with range tokens available for purchase in the pro shop. Additionally, there is a practice net conveniently located near the entrance.

Buggies & Electric Trolleys:  Please call the golf shop on 01798 872563 opt 1 to book in advance as only a limited number are available.

Scoring Format:  Individual Stableford with 95% of Course Handicap allowance. The maximum playing handicap will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies.

All scores will be automatically uploaded to the WHS for those competitors who are a member at a club affiliated to GB&I Golf Unions.  All other competitors will be responsible for returning the scores to their home club.

Tees:  Men - White  Ladies - Red

Prizes:  There will be prizes for first, second and third place in the morning and afternoon.

Nearest the Pin:  There are two Nearest the Pins each getting a £25 GAGT voucher.

GAGT Order of Merit:  Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on.

You will need to be a current member of the GAGT to qualify for merit points.

WHS Qualifier:  The event will be a WHS handicap qualifying event.

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £10 per person per round to include a 2s sweep and a competition sweep.

Dress:  Shorts must be tailored and socks can be short white sports socks.

GPS range finding equipment:  The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.

Payment:  Full payment is due one month prior to the date of the event.

Late Cancellation:  Please note that once we have submitted numbers to the golf club, they will charge for late cancellation.
