Overview: Founded in 1928, The Berkshire Golf Club is a historic gem with two courses designed by Herbert Fowler, both ranked among the top courses in the British Isles. The club has proudly hosted prestigious events, including the English Amateur Championship, the British Senior Amateur Championship and the final qualifying for the Senior British Open Championship. The Red Course, ranked 50th in Britain & Ireland’s Top 100 and 21st in England, sits on higher ground with an unusual mix of six par-3s, six par-4s, and six par-5s. The Blue Course, though not as highly ranked at 82nd in Britain & Ireland and 33rd in England, is famously challenging, with members often claiming it’s the tougher of the two.
