The Package includes:  Tea/Coffee and bacon roll on arrival, 18 holes and 2 course buffet served on a rolling basis following play.

Tee Times:  The draw will be on the website by 5pm on Monday 26th August.  Play will start from the 1st tee at 10.27am.

If you require an early or late tee time, please make your request via the Message facility in your Locker/Account.

Registration:  The registration desk will be set up in the Clubhouse from 09.00am.

Practice facilities:  There is a practice ground and range balls are included.

Yardage books:  Available from the Pro Shop at £6 per planner.

Buggies, trolleys and caddies:  To be booked through the Pro Shop on 01895 835777.

Caddies:  Are available but please allow 48 hours’ notice (£50 per caddy, plus tip).

Is the course soft spikes only:  No

On course catering:  There is a halfway house post 9th hole or an intermittent drinks buggy available on the course.

Scoring Format:  Play will be in threeballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

Tees/Score balancing:  Where permitted we offer gentlemen the option to play from the forward/yellow tees or from further back white tees.

Everyone plays in the same competition and handicaps will be adjusted in line with the SSS from the selected tees.  Gentlemen playing from the Yellow tees and ladies playing from the Red tees will play off their regular handicap.

CDH number:  All new competitors must provide their CDH number.  This is the unique number issued to each golf club member by their Home Golf Union and it enables us to check your handicap and for your handicap to be updated following SAGT events.

Golfers from overseas will need to provide proof of handicap.

Prizes:  There will be prizes for the first, second, third and fourth place.  There will also be two Nearest the Pin prizes.  The presentation will take place during the dinner.

SAGT Order of Merit:  Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on.  To be eligible for merit points you need to be a current member of the Tour for an annual subscription of £40.  You can join online at or call Janet/Kelly on 0845 466 2222.

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £10 per person per round to include a 2s sweep and a competition sweep.

Shorts:  Shorts must be tailored and socks can be white ankle.

Dress:  Jacket and tie is NOT REQUIRED but they do request that NO JEANS in the Clubhouse.

GPS range finding equipment:  The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.

Late Cancellation:  Please note that if you cancel within a week of the event taking place, the golf club WILL make a charge for late cancellation.
