CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT
COMPETITOR?S INFORMATION
Package Includes:
- One round on the West Course on Wednesday commencing at 10.30am followed by the presentation dinner in clubhouse at approx 5pm;
- Accommodation on Wednesday night in one of two hotels in Barnstaple (see Accommodation below) based on twin share unless you have booked a single room;
- One round on the East Course on Thursday commencing at 9.00am followed by lunch served on a rolling basis. The presentation for the second round will take place shortly after play finishes.
Tee Times: The Draw for Wednesday will be online by 5.00pm on Monday 8th April. If you specifically require early or late tee times on either day please email Janet at info@gmmltd.co.uk.
Accommodation: B&B on Wednesday night 10th April at one of two hotels in Barnstaple including The Barnstaple Hotel and The Royal and Fortescue Hotel based on a twin occupancy.

Scoring Format: Play will be in fourballs on both days. The scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.
CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event so you will need to know your exact playing handicap when you check in. A Competition Standard Scratch Score will be calculated and handicaps will be amended according to CONGU guidelines.

Championship Event: The winner over 36 holes will qualify for the EAGT UK Final in October.
To be eligible to accept this prize a competitor must have previously played in at least three Tour events or must play in five subsequent Tour events before the UK Final. If a competitor does not comply with the above they cannot accept the automatic place in the UK Final.
Prizes: Each round will be a separate competition and both will count towards the Order of Merit. There will be prizes for at least the leading three scores in each round. There will also be two Nearest the Pin competitions each day.
EAGT Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. Sweep: There will be an optional sweep of ?5 per day which will include a 2?s sweep of ?2 per round, a competition sweep of ?2 per round plus ?1 per round for the overall 36 hole competition.
Dress Code: Jackets and ties, and the equivalent for ladies, ARE NOT required but normal golf club dress regulations will apply.
Presentation: The presentation for Wednesday?s competition will take place during the dinner on Wednesday and the presentation for Thursday?s competition will take place shortly after the last match finishes.
GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Volvo Tour.
