COMPETITOR INFORMATION

Overview: Rockliffe Hall is a luxurious 5-star country retreat in County Durham, perfect for a weekend getaway. The golf course at Rockliffe Hall is the longest in the UK, stretching 7,879 yards from the tips. The 5th hole at Rockliffe Hall is widely regarded as its signature hole, a par-3 reminiscent of the iconic 17th at TPC Sawgrass, featuring its very own island green. The hotel offers stylish bedrooms, three fantastic restaurants and an award-winning spa.

Package Includes:  One Round of Golf, Tea/Coffee & bacon roll on arrival, prizes and OoM points. 

Registration:  The registration desk will be set up in the Clubhouse from 11.00am.

Catering:  Tea or Coffee and bacon bap on arrival from 12pm

Tee Times:  The draw will be on the website 48 hours prior to the event.  Tee times start from 1.00pm. 

If you specifically require an early or late tee time please inform us via the message facility in your Locker / Account.

Practice facilities:  Extensive practice facilities including an 8 bay covered driving range, practice greens and a short game area.

Buggies & Electric Trolleys:  There is availability to hire buggies, electric trolleys, pull trolleys and golf clubs.

Scoring Format:  Individual Stableford with 95% of Course Handicap allowance. The maximum playing handicap will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies.

All scores will be automatically uploaded to the WHS for those competitors who are a member at a club affiliated to GB&I Golf Unions.  All other competitors will be responsible for returning the scores to their home club.

Tees:  Men - White and Yellow (6,623 yards)        Ladies - Red (6,088 yards) 

Prizes:  There will be prizes for first, second and third place.

Nearest the Pin:  There are two Nearest the Pins each getting a £25 GAGT voucher.

GAGT Order of Merit:  Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on.

You will need to be a current member of the GAGT to qualify for merit points.

WHS Qualifier:  The event will be a WHS handicap qualifying event.

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £10 per person per round to include a 2s sweep and a competition sweep.

Dress:  Rockliffe Hall prides itself on its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and even though they have a comfortable approach within the clubhouse, a standard dress codes applies on the course.

On the course Rockliffe Hall do not permit denim, combat trousers, non-golf apparel shirts and untailored shorts. Golf shoes must be soft spikes only.

GPS range finding equipment:  The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.

Payment:  Full payment is due one month prior to the date of the event.

Late Cancellation:  Please note that once we have submitted numbers to the golf club, they will charge for late cancellation.
