Package Includes:  Tea / Coffee & bacon roll on arrival, one round am, roast lunch between rounds, one round pm, Tea and Sandwiches after pm round, prizes for am, pm & 36 hole competitions.

 

Clubhouse open from:  7.00am

 

Pro shop open from:  7.30am

 

Registration:  Registration desk will be set up in the Clubhouse from 7.00am.

 

Tee Times:  The draw will be on the website by 5.00pm on Monday, 30th July.  In the morning there will be a staggered two tee start. Play starts at 8.30am from the first tee and at 8.45am from the 15th tee. 

The afternoon round starts at 1.30pm with all matches from the first tee.

 

Scoring Format:  Play will be in threeballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance.  The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies.

 

Tees:              Men - White                  Ladies - Red

 

Practice facilities: There is a good practice ground at Worplesdon but a limited number of balls will be available. There is a practice net by the first tee.

There is a putting green and chipping green close to the first tee.


Buggies:  Unfortunately, there are only 4 buggies which we have been advised have already been booked!  Electric trolleys are available to hire at £10 each and pull trolleys at £5 each from the Pro Shop.


Caddies:  Caddies are available at £60.00 plus Tip.

 

Course planners:  Available from the pro shop, approx. £5.00 each

 

On course refreshments:  There will be a drinks buggy on the course.

 

Prizes:  Each round will be a separate competition and both will count towards the Order of Merit. There will be prizes for at least the first, second and third place each round plus an overall 36 hole prize.  The presentation will take place shortly after the last match has finished.

 

Nearest the Pin:  There will be two Nearest the Pin Competitions, morning and afternoon.

 

Catering:  A rolling carvery will be served in between rounds and a sandwich will be available following the second round. Jacket & tie are NOT required.

 

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £10 per round to include a 2s sweep a competition sweep and an overall 36 hole competition sweep.

 

EAGT Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event. Please ensure you have entered your CONGU number in your Account / Locker details.  A Competition Standard Scratch Score will be calculated and handicaps will be amended according to CONGU guidelines.  

 

Shorts:  If you wish to wear shorts they must be tailored and socks can be ankle length sports socks.

 

Dress: Jacket & tie NOT required.

 

GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.

 

Late Cancellation:  Please note that we have submitted numbers to the golf club and they will make a charge for late cancellation.
