Package Includes: Tea/ Coffee & bacon roll on arrival, one round on each of The Blue and The Red Courses, roast lunch between rounds, light snack after pm round, prizes for am, pm & 36 hole competitions.
Tee Times: The draw will be on the website by 5.00pm on Monday 9th May. If you require an early or late tee time please make your request via the Message facility in your Locker / Account.
Play starts at 8.00am from the 1st and 12th tees on The Red Course and then again in the afternoon at 1.30pm from the 1st and 7th tee on the Blue Course.
If you are starting from the 12th tee in the morning please allow an extra 10 minutes as it involves a short drive to the 7th tee.
Clubhouse opening: Competitors are not permitted in the clubhouse before 7.15am
Pro shop opening: At approximately 7.30am
Practice facilities: There is a range with covered bays at the club within a short walk or drive of the clubhouse. Tokens can be purchased in the pro shop.
Buggy & trolley hire: Buggies and electric trollies are limited in number but there are plenty of pull trolleys available. To reserve a buggy or electric trolley call the pro shop on 01344 622 35101344 622 351
On course refreshments: A drinks buggy will service both courses
CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event so you will need to know your exact playing handicap when you check in. A Competition Standard Scratch Score will be calculated and handicaps will be amended according to CONGU guidelines..
Scoring Format: Play will be in threeballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.
Tees: Men – TBC Ladies – Red
Prizes: Each round will be a separate competition and both will count towards the Order of Merit. There will be prizes for the first, second and third place each round plus an overall 36 hole prize. The presentation will take place shortly after the last match has finished.
Nearest the Pin: There will be two Nearest the Pin Competitions each round with a £25 Tour voucher for the winners.
Catering: A three course roast lunch will be served in between rounds and a snack will be available following the second round. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket & tie in the Dining Room.
Sweep: There will be an optional sweep of £10 per round to include a 2s sweep and a competition sweep.
EAGT Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. Shorts: If you wish to wear shorts socks can be ankle length white sports socks.
Dress: Gentlemen need to wear a jacket & tie in the Dining Room at lunchtime.
GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.
Late Cancellation: Please note that we have submitted numbers to the golf club and they WILL make a charge for late cancellation.
