Tue 25                Arrive at Cordevalle – welcome drinks

Wed 26              1st rnd at Cordevalle from 12 noon -  after golf drive to Carmel, approx 1hr – 56 miles. 

Thu 27                2^nd round at Spyglass Hill from 10.30am

Fri 28                  3^rd round at Pasatiempo from 11.00am – approx. 1hr from Carmel

Sat 29                 No golf booked – day at leisure

Sun 30                4^th round at Spanish Bay from 10.40am.  Check in to the Inn at Spanish Bay.

Mon 1                 5^th round at Pebble Beach from 10.40am.  Presentation Dinner in Inn at Spanish bay

Package Prices:

Pebble Beach is a premium priced destination.  When we last visited in September 2013 the package price for a twin room was £2755 based on an exchange rate of 1.5 $/£.  The equivalent price based on the current exchange rate of 1.2 $/£ is £3444.

PLEASE NOTE THE ABOVE PRICES ARE BASED ON AN EXCHANGE RATE OF 1.2 $/£. IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO MAKE A SURCHARGE IF THERE IS AN APPRECIABLE CHANGE IN EXCHANGE RATES. ALTERNATIVELY IF THE RATE IMPROVES WE WILL ADJUST THE PACKAGE PRICE ACCORDINGLY.

A few anticipated questions

Which Airport should I fly into ?

The closest airport is San Francisco International (SFO) which is 62 miles from Cordevalle, approximately 70 minutes by car.  Multiple carriers offer direct flights to San Francisco.  British Airways, Virgin Atlantic & United Airlines offer direct flights from London Heathrow.  From Manchester Virgin Atlantic has a daily direct flight to San Francisco and a daily flight to Atlanta with excellent onward connections to San Francisco with Delta or United Airlines.

Are flights included ?

Flights are not included but we recommend you contact Felicity Quint at the Flight Centre on 01727 893993 or email felicity.quint@flightcentre.co.uk and quote EAGT to get the best available fares.

Are airport & golf transfers included ?

Airport transfers and golf course transfers are not included. We strongly recommend you hire a car as the California coastline is spectacular and there are many places to visit in the evenings and on the day off from golf. 

Should you wish to share a rental car with another competitor please add your flight details to the administration site and let the other competitors know you wish to share a hire car.

Can I book golf only ?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer golf only on the Pebble Beach event as staying in the hotel is compulsory to play the courses.

Why does the package include three hotels?

Cordevalle is a wonderful course (ranked 44 in the Top 100 US Courses You Can Play) which in 2016 hosted the Women’s US Open and between 2010 – 13 hosted the PGA Frys.com Open. Cordevalle is only open to members & hotel guests.  The Rosewood Cordevalle Resort is enroute to Carmel from San Francisco Airport.

In order to play the three courses at Pebble Beach you normally have to stay a minimum of three nights at one of the Pebble Beach Resort Hotels and the accommodation is extremely expensive, starting at $880 per room per night.

We have managed to negotiate that our group only stays two nights at Pebble Beach to play the three courses. To make the package as affordable as possible we have included the minimum two nights at the Inn at Spanish Bay.

What is the weather like in April at Pebble Beach?

The mild climate of the Monterey Peninsula ensures the highs are never too high and the lows are never too low at Pebble Beach!  Average temperatures in April/May are mid to high 20’s and  it rarely rains between April and October.

What is the playing format ?

Individual stableford with full handicap allowance. All five rounds will count towards the 2017 Order of Merit
