Airport Transfers:  Airport transfers are not included as we anticipate that people will fly in at different times.

Weather:  Warm and Sunny with temperatures typically in the low 20°Cs.

All three of these championship courses have been specifically designed to be played without a cart, allowing players to fully appreciate the dramatic elevations and unique course architecture. Walking along the natural contours and subtle undulations of the greens and fairways may even help refine your swing and improve your game.

Walking at Streamsong offers a truly superior golf experience. While you might still see the courses from the tees and your approaches from the greens when riding in a cart, the essence of the experience in between is lost. To truly immerse yourself in the incredible sights, sounds, and surroundings of Streamsong, walking your rounds is the way to go. 

While golf carts are available, it's important to note that they are a $35 surcharge per person and require a forecaddie. The forecaddie fee is $180 per foursome plus gratuity.

This means that if only one or two players in a group opt for a cart, the forecaddie fee still applies to the entire foursome. For example, if two players are walking, and one opts for a cart, the $180 forecaddie fee is still charged, even if the walkers did not request a forecaddie. To avoid this, we encourage grouping cart users together whenever possible, though this may not always be feasible.

Caddie Services:

Group Caddies (compulsory with carts): $180 per foursome + gratuity

Walking Caddies:

Double Bag: $100 per player + gratuity

Single Bag: $120 per player + gratuity

Caddie fees are not included in the round and can be booked in advance. At Streamsong, caddies and group caddies are paid directly by guests in cash, as they do not receive compensation from the resort.

The drive from Streamsong to Sawgrass is 217 miles and takes typically 3 hr 20 min to 4 hr.

Format: The scoring format each day will be individual Stableford.

Handicaps: Playing Handicap will be set at 95% of Course Handicap. The maximum Playing Handicaps are 24 for men and 30 for ladies. If your handicap exceeds these limits, you can still play, but for competition purposes, you’ll play off these limits.

All rounds will be run under the World Handicap System (WHS). Scores will not automatically be forwarded to your Golf Union.  Participants MUST return their daily scores to their golf club. The easiest way to do this is to forward the email from Golf Genius, which will be received after each round, and provides details of your scores.

GAGT Overseas Handicap System (OHA):  Handicaps will be adjusted after each round in line with the GAGT OHA system. The GAGT OHA system is based on the CONGU handicap system prior to the introduction of WHS. Adjustments made by the GAGT OHA system will not affect your club Handicap Index.

The GAGT OHA system takes precedence over adjustments made by a player’s home club to ensure consistency. Details of the GAGT OHA system can be provided upon request.

Daily Draw:  The draw for the first round will be available on the website a week before the event.

Participants can use the message facility in their Locker/Account for requests such as playing partners and early or late tee times. The organisers will do their best to accommodate these requests.

To avoid excess baggage charges, prizes will be in the form of vouchers for the Global Amateur Golf Tour.

Daily Prizes:

1st Place: £100 GAGT voucher

2nd Place: £70 GAGT voucher

3rd Place: £50 GAGT voucher

Overall vouchers: 

1st Place: £175 GAGT voucher

2nd Place: £150 GAGT voucher

3rd Place: £125 GAGT voucher

Nearest the Pin:  There will be two Nearest the Pins for each round, with a prize of a £25 GAGT voucher.

Sweep:  An optional sweep of $30, $10 per round, collected in cash during check-in before the first round.  The sweep will be paid out daily for the leading three scores and anyone who scores a two.

Merit points will be awarded for all three tournament rounds.

Points will be awarded on the basis of 100 points to the winner, 99 points for runner-up, 98 points for third, and so on.

Participants need to be a current member of the GAGT to qualify for merit points.

Local Rules:  Local Rules on the scorecard will be in play, in addition to the R&A Rules of Golf.

Dress Code:  Ankle-length socks are acceptable, and shorts must be tailored. Jacket & Tie are not required; Smart Casual attire is acceptable in the clubhouse.

The above prices are based on an exchange rate of 1.25$ / £.  A surcharge may be necessary if there is an appreciable change in exchange rates.

Late cancellation:  The golf club will make a charge for late cancellation after numbers have been submitted.
