COMPETITOR INFORMATION

 

Address:  Goodwood Downs GC, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0QB 

 

Package includes:  Coffee & bacon rolls from 10.00am. 18 hole competition on The Downs Course from 11.00am, rolling two course dinner following play, presentation shortly after last match finishes.

 

Tee Times: From 11.00am.  The draw will be on the website from 5.00pm on Monday 10th July.  If you require an early or late tee time please make your request via the Message facility in your locker / account. 

 

 Registration:  The registration desk will be set up in The Putting Green room from 10.00am.

 

Scoring Format:  Play will be in threeballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

 

Practice Facilities:  There is a range and tokens for balls are available in the pro shop.

 

Halfway house:  Yes

 

Prizes:  There will be prizes for the first, second and third place. The presentation will take place shortly after the last match has finished.

 

Nearest the Pin: There will be two Nearest the Pin Competitions.

 

Catering: Coffee & bacon rolls is included and will be served from 10.00am. A two course lunch will be served on a rolling basis after play.

 

EAGT Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on.

You will need to be a current member of the EAGT to qualify for merit points. You can check your membership status and join by calling Janet on 0845 466 22220845 466 2222. The subscription fee is £40 for 12 months from the day you join.

 

CONGU Qualifier: This event will be a CONGU handicap qualifying event. 

 

Sweep:  There will be an optional sweep of £10 per person to include a 2s sweep and a competition sweep.

 

Soft spikes only: No – any spikes are welcome

 

Dress:  Jackets and ties and the equivalent for ladies ARE NOT required but the club request that dress is smart casual.

 

Late Cancellation:  Please note that the club WILL charge in full for late cancellations.

 

Buggies & trolleys: Buggies and electric trolleys are available to hire and we recommend booking in advance via the pro shop on 01243 755133 

 

GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.
