Package includes: Coffee/tea and bacon rolls on arrival, one competition round and prize presentation just after last match finishes.
Tee Times: The first match will tee off from 12.45pm.
The draw will be on the website by 5.00pm on Monday, 22nd July.
If you require an early or late tee time, please make your request via the Message facility in your Locker/Account.
Registration: The registration desk will be set up in the Clubhouse from 8.30am.
Practice: There is an excellent grass practice area, complemented by two short game practice facilities and a large practice putting green opposite the Clubhouse and alongside the 18th green. Baskets of balls may be obtained from the Pro Shop at a cost of £3 for a full basket.
Yardage books: Available from the Pro Shop at £6 per book.
Buggies, Electric Trolleys & push trolleys: Unfortunately, buggies are only available on production of a medical certificate and must be booked in advance via the Secretary’s office at a cost of £30 per round. For reasons of Health & Safety, electric scooters and personal caddies are not allowed on the course. Electric Trolleys: £10 per round – please book in advance. Pull Trolleys: £4 per round – plenty available.
Is the course soft spikes only?: No
Scoring Format: Play will be in threeballs and the scoring format will be Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 36 for ladies.
Tees/Score balancing: Where permitted we offer gentlemen the option to play from the forward/yellow tees or from further back white tees.
Everyone plays in the same competition and handicaps will be adjusted in line with the SSS from the selected tees. Gentlemen playing from the Yellow tees and ladies playing from the Red tees will play off their regular handicap.
CDH number: All new competitors must provide their CDH number. This is the unique number issued to each golf club member by their Home Golf Union and it enables us to check your handicap and for your handicap to be updated following EAGT events.
Golfers from overseas will need to provide proof of handicap.
Prizes: There will be prizes for at least the first, second and third place and two Nearest the Pin Competitions. The presentation will take place shortly after the last match has finished.
SAGT Order of Merit: Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on. Nearest the Pin: There will be two Nearest the Pin Competitions each round.
Sweep: There will be an optional sweep of £10 per person per round to include a 2s sweep and a competition sweep.
Shorts: If you wish to wear shorts they must be tailored and SOCKS MUST BE SINGLE COLOUR KNEE LENGTH.
Dress: Smart casual wear, including shorts worn with long socks, is allowed in all rooms with the exception of the Vardon Room where Jacket and ties must be worn at all times and in the Dining Room after 11am.
GPS range finding equipment: The use of GPS range finding devices is permitted on the Tour.
Late Cancellation: Please note that we have submitted numbers to the golf club and they will make a charge for late cancellation.
